This type of filth should disgust the most avid meat eaters
How can this remain in operation for so long without anyone saying anything is beyond me. Not only are these animals being mistreated beyond comprehension, but the affect these slaughterhouses is having on the local environment is daunting and something that can't be ignored.

I have long ago learned that capitalism supports many of the evils in this world. This is allowed to happen because animals have no power and profit can be gained from their mistreatment.
No doubt, it's all quite filthy and unhealthy.
But, the authorities are all hush about it because the people there want that meat and those animals for various reasons. That particular part of Hialeah and other parts of the Miami metro area are chock full of folks who want to engage in that trade. Like the drug trade, it won't stop because the demand hasn't vanished.

Capitalism has sunken its fangs into animal welfare and the only way to stop this type of behavior is for humans to demand less meat. Period.
